SYSTEMS INTEGRATOR PARTNERSHIP TO SUPPORT PAYERS IN MEETING REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS
GRAFTON, WI (December 21, 2020) – HealthLX announced today that it has entered a systems integrator partnership with SourcEdge to help healthcare payers comply with the CMS Interoperability and Patient Access Final Rule. Health plans in the United States must enable member access to their records by July 1, 2021 or risk enforcement actions.
“This has been an extremely challenging year for health plans, and many are not as far along as they’d like to be on meeting the upcoming interoperability compliance deadlines,” said Will Tesch, CEO of HealthLX. “The need for IT teams to work 100% virtually has further complicated their situation. This is a very good time for HealthLX and SourcEdge to partner to meet client needs for an interoperability solution that can be implemented quickly in a cost-effective manner.”
“In our discussions with leading health plans around the country, it’s clear they’re struggling with the Cures Act’s technical requirements and tight deadline,” said Mark McAdoo, Founder and CEO of SourcEdge. “It’s challenging payers of all sizes. By pairing SourcEdge’s proven consulting and professional services with HealthLX’s leading technology platform, health plans get an ideal solution that addresses their immediate needs and establishes an agile data-sharing foundation for years to come.”
